According to the service manual, A float height of 14.6 mm produces a fuel level 11.5 mm below the float bowl gasket seam. If it does not, there is a fault in the float system that must be identified and remedied. This is likely to be incorrect. Rather, A float height of 14.6 mm should produce a fuel level 1.5 mm above the float bowl gasket seam.
